There are a number opportunities to volunteer in archaeology with the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, both in practical field work activities such as excavations and surveys, as well as in our monitoring programmes, helping with the Dales Archaeology Day and assisting with data entry or other HER ( Historic Environment Record) tasks. During all these years many students have come from all over the world to study abroad to Menorca (Balearic Islands, Spain) in order to dig up the Roman remains located at this classical site on the Northern coast of the island.
